Earth Hour
What is it: individuals, businesses, etc. turn off their lights for 1 hour in order to show support for environmental change. Cities around the world have pledged to turn off their lights for earth hour.
How does it work/how can I help?: on Sunday March 28, 2009 for the hour of 8:30-9:30pm local time you can turn off non-essential lighting.
